Fulfillment & Refund Policy
1.What We Sell
Stateable is a subscription software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that ingests insurance commission statements, parses and normalizes them, and provides structured data through a web application, APIs, and exports. Plans, features, limits, and prices are listed on our pricing page and, for Enterprise customers, in an Order Form.
All prices are stated and billed in U.S. dollars (USD). Prices exclude applicable taxes.
2.Service Delivery (Fulfillment)
Stateable is a fully digital service — nothing ships. Your workspace is provisioned automatically when your payment is confirmed:
- Self-serve plans: access begins immediately after checkout. Workspace setup (including your dedicated data infrastructure) completes automatically, typically within a few minutes; you’ll be taken to your workspace as soon as it’s ready.
- Enterprise plans: access and onboarding are scheduled per your Order Form.
If your workspace isn’t available shortly after a successful charge, contact support@stateable.io and we will make it right.
3.Free Trial
New accounts may receive a 7-day free trial with usage limits (currently 10 statement uploads per calendar month). No charge is made until you subscribe to a paid plan. At the end of the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription. Trial terms are disclosed at signup; we may change or discontinue trials at any time. Trial conditions for any specific promotion are stated where the promotion is offered.
Referral discounts: if you sign up with a valid referral code or link, a discount (currently 10% off your software subscription for the first 12 months) may apply, as disclosed at checkout. Discount conditions are stated at the time of signup.
4.Billing and Automatic Renewal
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually as you select at checkout, through our payment processor Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel first. For annual plans, we email a renewal reminder at least 30 days before renewal with the price and a one-click cancellation link. Seat additions or removals during a billing period are prorated.
5.Cancellation Policy
You can cancel anytime, yourself, with effect at the end of your current billing period:
- In-product: Settings → Billing (Stripe billing portal), or
- By email: billing@stateable.io before your renewal date.
After cancellation you keep access until the period you’ve paid for ends. We don’t charge cancellation fees. After your subscription ends, your data remains exportable for at least 30 days (see Terms of Service § 18).
6.Refund Policy
Because billing is in advance and you can cancel before any renewal, fees are generally non-refundable, with these exceptions:
- Where required by law.
- Material reduction in functionality: if we materially reduce your plan’s core functionality during a paid term and you cancel within 30 days, we will refund the unused portion.
- Service discontinuation: if we discontinue the Service or your plan, we refund prepaid, unused fees pro-rata.
- As expressly stated in your Order Form (Enterprise).
To request a refund, email billing@stateable.io with your account email and the charge in question. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days of approval. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us before disputing it with your card issuer — most billing issues are resolved within one business day.
7.Enterprise Agreements
Enterprise subscriptions are governed by an executed Order Form, which may set different billing, cancellation, and refund terms. The Order Form controls over this page and over Terms of Service § 5 where they conflict.
8.Payment Security
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Card details are entered on Stripe-hosted payment pages over HTTPS — Stateable never sees or stores your full card number (we receive only the card brand and last four digits, for receipts). Our application security practices are described in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service § 7.
